Facial Rejuvenation with Acupuncture
Acupuncture for facial rejuvenation has been done for centuries. As long as there have been people, we have wanted to enhance and preserve our physical appearance. In life or business, our face is what people see and react to.
How does acupuncture rejuvenate the face?
Acupuncture helps create collagen, fills in wrinkles and enlivens the skin. Thin wrinkles can be eliminated and deeper wrinkles made shallower. The increase in circulation also brings about a lasting, radiant glow.
The face is only part of the equation
Acupuncture can be done just on the face with amazing results, but in truth the face is only part of the equation. Imbalances in health will often show in, and can degrade the appearance of, the face.
Issues with the liver can result in the whites of the eyes looking bloodshot and red, grey or even yellow. If the kidneys are weak we will notice the appearance of dark bags under the eyes, which will become even darker with exhaustion. If the spleen and lungs are not functioning as well as they could, there can be swelling or edema in the face.
Our constitutional health is the foundation of our appearance
If your body is strong and healthy, then facial acupuncture works amazingly well and has a lasting effect with much less maintenance required. If we are a bit imbalanced and unhealthy, results can be achieved, but will require more work to maintain. It’s a bit like polishing a car that needs some engine work.
This is why I include constitutional diagnosis and treatment with facial rejuvenation acupuncture. When your body is strong and full of energy and vitality it can’t help but show in your face.
Why just look great, when you can look and feel great?
Don’t just look younger, feel younger!
